Job Description
As an Early Childhood Educator at Montessori Learning Cottage, you will play a crucial role in the development and growth of young children. You will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, implementing the Montessori curriculum, and fostering a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans based on the Montessori philosophy
- Observe and assess students’ progress and provide feedback to parents
- Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure the overall well-being of each child
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events
Qualifications:
- Early Childhood Education diploma or degree
- Montessori teaching certification (AMI or AMS) preferred
