Position Overview

Mooring USA is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Fire & Water Damage Restoration Specialist to join our team. As a restoration specialist, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients rebuild and recover from the devastating effects of fire and water damage. You will work closely with our project managers and technicians to assess the damage, develop restoration plans, and execute repairs to restore properties to their pre-loss condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of properties to assess fire and water damage
• Develop comprehensive restoration plans and timelines
• Coordinate with project managers and technicians to execute restoration projects
• Perform water extraction, drying, and dehumidification processes
• Remove and dispose of damaged materials
• Install and repair drywall, flooring, and other building materials
• Ensure that all work meets industry standards and client expectations
• Document all restoration activities and maintain accurate records
• Provide excellent customer service and communication throughout the restoration process

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in fire and water damage restoration
• Certification in water damage restoration (IICRC certification preferred)
• Strong knowledge of industry best practices and techniques
• Ability to work in fast-paced and high-stress environments
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Detail-oriented and organized with a focus on quality workmanship
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites
