Position Summary:

The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing primary care services to pediatric patients under the supervision of Ms. Peggy Goad-Goodenough, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatrics and a passion for working with children and their families. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

• Performing physical exams and health assessments
• Diagnosing and treating common pediatric illnesses and injuries
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests
• Developing and implementing treatment plans
• Providing patient education and counseling
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN)
• Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license
• Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC)
• Experience working in pediatric primary care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
