Job Description:

• Evaluate, authorize, or recommend approval of real estate loans.
• Advise borrowers on financial status and payment methods.
• Review and update credit and loan files.
• Submit applications to credit analyst for verification and recommendation.
• Develop referral networks to locate prospects for loans.

Qualifications:

• Proven working experience as a loan officer.
• Familiarity with all types of mortgage loans.
• Solid understanding of lending procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of computer programs to ensure efficient processing of client mortgages.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate loan applications and documentation by confirming creditworthiness.
• Counsel borrowers on financial status and payment methods.
• Develop referral networks to locate prospects for loans.
• Guide customers through the loan application process.
• Collect and analyze information needed for loan processing.
