Job Responsibilities:

• Perform general surgical procedures on patients with nerve and muscle disorders, including but not limited to nerve decompression, muscle biopsies, and trigger point injections.
• Evaluate patients’ medical histories, symptoms, and diagnostic test results to determine appropriate surgical interventions.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals, including neurologists, physical therapists, and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and collaborate on treatment strategies.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay current on the latest advancements in General Surgery and nerve and muscle disorders.

Qualifications:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in General Surgery.
• Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
