Position: Worship Leader

Location: New Hope Baptist, City Center

Job Description:

As a Worship Leader at New Hope Baptist, you will play a vital role in leading our congregation in worship through music, prayer, and spiritual guidance. You will work closely with the pastor and ministry team to create an atmosphere of heartfelt worship that engages and inspires our members.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate weekly worship services, including selecting songs, preparing music, and leading rehearsals
• Create a worship experience that is inclusive, dynamic, and spiritually uplifting for all attendees
• Recruit and train musicians, vocalists, and other worship team members
• Collaborate with the pastor and ministry team to plan and execute special services and events
• Provide pastoral care and support to members of the congregation
• Participate in outreach and community service initiatives

Qualifications:

• Strong Christian faith and commitment to serving the Lord
• Previous experience leading worship in a church setting
• Proficient in playing an instrument and/or singing
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
