Are you passionate about serving others and making a difference in the lives of those around you? New Providence Baptist Church is currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team. We have several positions available in various departments, including:

– Youth Ministry Coordinator
– Worship Leader
– Administrative Assistant
– Facilities Manager
– Outreach Coordinator

Youth Ministry Coordinator

Do you have a heart for youth and a desire to see them grow in their faith? Our Youth Ministry Coordinator will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging programs for our middle and high school students. This individual must have strong leadership skills and a love for working with young people.

Responsibilities:
– Develop and lead youth group meetings and events
– Coordinate service projects and outreach activities
– Provide mentorship and support to youth members
– Collaborate with church leadership to align youth programs with overall vision

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in a related field
– Previous experience in youth ministry
– Strong communication and organizational skills
– Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed

Worship Leader

Are you passionate about leading others in worship and creating a meaningful experience through music? Our Worship Leader will be responsible for planning and leading worship services, selecting music, and coordinating with our worship team.

Responsibilities:
– Lead congregational singing during worship services
– Select and arrange music for services
– Rehearse with musicians and vocalists
– Collaborate with pastor and worship team to plan services

Qualifications:
– Strong vocal and musical abilities
– Previous experience leading worship
– Ability to work collaboratively with a team
– Understanding of Baptist worship traditions

Administrative Assistant

Are you detail-oriented and organized with excellent communication skills? Our Administrative Assistant will provide support to our church office by managing correspondence, scheduling appointments, and assisting with various administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:
– Manage church calendar and schedule appointments
– Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries
– Prepare documents and correspondence
– Assist with event planning and coordination

Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office
– Strong organizational skills
– Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks

Facilities Manager

Are you handy with tools and have experience in facilities management? Our Facilities Manager will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of our church building and grounds.

Responsibilities:
– Perform regular maintenance tasks on building and equipment
– Oversee custodial staff and maintenance contractors
– Manage building security and safety procedures
– Coordinate setup for events and services

Qualifications:
– Previous experience in facilities management
– Knowledge of building systems and maintenance practices
– Strong leadership and communication skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Outreach Coordinator

Are you passionate about reaching out to the community and connecting with others? Our Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for developing and implementing outreach strategies to engage with the surrounding neighborhood.

Responsibilities:
– Plan and coordinate outreach events and programs
– Build relationships with community organizations and partners
– Recruit and train volunteers for outreach initiatives
– Evaluate effectiveness of outreach efforts and adjust as needed

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in a related field
– Previous experience in community outreach
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
