Job Description
As an Optometrist specializing in Therapy & Visual Training at New View Optical, you will have the opportunity to work closely with patients to improve their vision and overall eye health. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive eye exams and assessments to determine visual acuity and health
- Develop personalized treatment plans for patients with vision problems, eye coordination issues, and other visual impairments
- Implement vision therapy techniques and visual training exercises to help patients improve their visual skills and performance
- Educate patients on proper eye care practices and provide recommendations for eyewear or vision aids
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for patients
Qualifications
- Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited institution
- Valid state optometry license
- Specialization in Vision Therapy and Visual Training preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Passion for providing exceptional patient care
