Position: Garbage Collection Specialist

Job Description:

As a garbage collection specialist at Nexus Disposal, you will be responsible for collecting and transporting residential and commercial waste. This includes picking up garbage bins, loading them onto the disposal truck, and emptying them at designated locations. You will ensure that all waste is properly disposed of and follow safety protocols at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect garbage bins from customers’ premises
• Operate disposal truck to transport waste to designated locations
• Empty bins and clean up any spills or debris
• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies
• Maintain truck cleanliness and report any maintenance issues

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Previous experience in waste management is a plus
