Are you passionate about Japanese cuisine and looking to join a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment? Nori Sushi Bistro is currently seeking talented individuals to join our team. We have the following positions available:

Sushi Chef

As a Sushi Chef at Nori Sushi Bistro, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality sushi and sashimi dishes. The ideal candidate should have a strong knowledge of Japanese culinary techniques, a passion for food, and excellent knife skills. The Sushi Chef should also have experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and be able to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities include:
– Preparing sushi and sashimi dishes with precision and attention to detail
– Ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are met
– Working collaboratively with the kitchen team to uphold quality standards
– Maintaining a clean and organized work station
– Following recipes and portion sizes accurately

Requirements:
– Previous experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar role
– Knowledge of Japanese cuisine and ingredients
– Strong knife skills
– Ability to work well under pressure
– Food safety certification is a plus

Server

As a Server at Nori Sushi Bistro, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our guests. The ideal candidate should have a friendly and outgoing personality, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment. Servers should be knowledgeable about Japanese cuisine and be able to make recommendations to guests.

Responsibilities include:
– Greeting and seating guests
– Taking orders and serving food and beverages
– Providing recommendations on menu items
– Ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience
– Handling cash and card transactions accurately

Requirements:
– Previous experience as a Server or in the hospitality industry
– Excellent customer service skills
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work well in a team environment
– Knowledge of Japanese cuisine is a plus
