Are you looking to take the next step in your accounting career? Do you have a passion for numbers and a keen eye for detail? Novotny & Co is currently looking to fill the following positions:

1. Senior Accountant

We are seeking a qualified Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in public accounting, be a CPA or CPA candidate, and have excellent communication skills. Responsibilities include:

• Preparing and reviewing financial statements
• Providing tax planning and compliance services
• Supervising staff accountants
• Building and maintaining client relationships

2. Tax Consultant

We are looking for a Tax Consultant to assist our clients with their tax planning and compliance needs. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of tax laws and regulations, excellent research skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities include:

• Preparing individual and business tax returns
• Advising clients on tax-saving strategies
• Assisting with IRS and state tax audits
• Keeping abreast of changes in tax laws

3. Bookkeeper

We are in need of a skilled Bookkeeper to help manage our clients’ financial records. The ideal candidate will have experience with QuickBooks or other accounting software, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask. Responsibilities include:

• Recording financial transactions
• Reconciling bank statements
• Generating financial reports
• Assisting with payroll processing
