We’re Hiring: Landfill/Recycling Center Operator

Are you passionate about the environment and looking for a career in waste management? Novus Wood Recycling is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Landfill/Recycling Center Operator. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors and making a positive impact on the community.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy machinery, such as dump trucks and front-end loaders, to transport and process waste materials
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the landfill/recycling center
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
• Monitor incoming waste materials and sort them for proper disposal or recycling
• Assist customers with waste disposal procedures and provide excellent customer service
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report any issues to management

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in waste management or related field preferred
• Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
