Position: Social Services Coordinator

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Social Services Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing various social service programs and initiatives to support our congregation and the wider community in need. The ideal candidate will have a heart for serving others and a strong commitment to making a positive impact in people’s lives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage social service programs to address the needs of our community
• Coordinate outreach efforts to provide support to individuals facing hardship
• Collaborate with local organizations and agencies to maximize resources and impact
• Provide counseling and guidance to individuals in crisis situations
• Evaluate program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement
• Recruit and train volunteers to assist with social service initiatives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, or a related field
• Previous experience in social services or community outreach preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Passion for serving others and making a difference in the community
