Position: Lumber Technician

Old World Lumber Company is a leading supplier of high-quality lumber products located in the heart of the Pacific Northwest. We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Lumber Technician to join our team. Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and grade lumber products according to industry standards
• Operate and maintain sawmill equipment
• Sort and stack lumber for processing
• Monitor production processes to ensure quality control
• Assist with shipping and receiving of lumber products

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience working in a lumber mill or similar environment
• Knowledge of lumber grading rules and regulations
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
