We are hiring Actuaries!
Are you a skilled professional with a passion for using data and statistics to drive business decisions? Do you excel in analyzing financial risks and developing strategies to mitigate them? If so, Oman International Trading is looking for you to join our team as an Actuary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting statistical analyses to calculate and assess financial risks
- Developing models to forecast future trends and evaluate their impact on business operations
- Providing recommendations to senior management based on data-driven insights
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for business growth
- Staying informed about industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
- ACAS or FCAS certification preferred
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as R, Python, or SAS
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in actuarial work
