Position: Line Cook

Job Description:

As a Line Cook at Outback Steakhouse, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items in accordance with our recipes and standards. This includes grilling, broiling, frying, and sautéing various meats, vegetables, and other ingredients to create our signature dishes. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment, following food safety and sanitation guidelines, and working as part of a team to ensure efficient service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including cutting, chopping, and marinating meats and vegetables
• Cook food items according to recipe specifications and quality standards
• Set up stations and stock ingredients to ensure smooth service throughout shifts
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
• Follow food safety procedures and regulations

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role preferred
• Knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
