Position: Mortgage Loan Processor

Position Summary

The Mortgage Loan Processor will be responsible for processing and managing a pipeline of mortgage loan applications. This includes verifying all loan documents, preparing files for underwriting, and communicating with clients, loan officers, and underwriters to ensure a smooth and timely loan process. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping customers achieve their dream of homeownership.

Responsibilities

• Review loan application files to ensure completeness and accuracy
• Verify income, assets, and credit information of loan applicants
• Order and review property appraisals, title reports, and other documentation
• Communicate with clients to request additional information as needed
• Prepare loan files for underwriting review
• Follow up on outstanding conditions and ensure all requirements are met for loan approval
• Coordinate loan closings with title companies, escrow officers, and other parties
• Provide excellent customer service to clients throughout the loan process

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in mortgage loan processing
• Knowledge of mortgage loan products and programs
• Strong understanding of underwriting guidelines and industry regulations
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and loan processing software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively
