Job Description

As a Head Chef at Pappa Confectionary, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operation. You will lead a team of talented chefs and kitchen staff, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards. The Head Chef is also responsible for menu planning, recipe development, and food costing. Additionally, the Head Chef will maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety in the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation
• Create and develop new dishes that are in line with the restaurant’s concept
• Order and manage inventory to ensure food quality and freshness
• Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain consistency and quality
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Head Chef position at Pappa Confectionary will have:

• 5+ years of experience in a high-volume Italian restaurant
• Degree in Culinary Arts or relevant field
• Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine and cooking techniques
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure
