Position: Pediatric Orthotic-Prosthetic Technician

Location: Hospitals

Job Responsibilities

• Fabricate custom orthotic and prosthetic devices for pediatric patients
• Perform assessments and measurements to ensure proper fit and function of devices
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and therapists to develop comprehensive treatment plans
• Provide education and training to patients and families on device use and maintenance
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient care

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification as an Orthotic-Prosthetic Technician (C.O., C.Ped, or equivalent) preferred
• Experience working with pediatric patients in a healthcare setting
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
