Position: Physician/Surgeon in Emergency Medicine
Job Description
Are you a dynamic and compassionate physician/surgeon looking to make a difference in the lives of children? Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a qualified candidate to join our team in the Emergency Medicine department. As a physician/surgeon in Emergency Medicine, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to pediatric patients in need of urgent medical attention.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat pediatric patients in emergency situations
- Perform medical procedures as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families
- Maintain accurate medical records
Qualifications
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine
- Licensure to practice in the state where the position is located
- Experience working with pediatric patients preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
