Position: Optical Goods Repair Technician

Job Description:

As an Optical Goods Repair Technician at Perfect Vision Associates, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining a wide range of optical goods, including eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. Your role will involve working closely with customers to assess their needs, identify issues with their optical goods, and provide swift and efficient repair services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnosing and repairing optical goods, including frames, lenses, and other components
• Adjusting and fitting eyeglasses to ensure optimal comfort and vision correction
• Inspecting and testing repaired optical goods to ensure accuracy and quality
• Providing exceptional customer service and addressing any concerns or inquiries
• Maintaining detailed records of repairs and customer transactions
• Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth operation of the repair department

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in optical goods repair or a related field preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hand-eye coordination
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
• Knowledge of optical terminology, equipment, and repair techniques
