Position Available: Tropical Fish Sales Associate

Pet City Houston Inc is a leading discount store in the Houston area that specializes in providing a wide range of tropical fish and feeders to our customers. We are currently looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Tropical Fish Sales Associate.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their tropical fish and feeder needs
• Knowledgeably answer questions about different species of tropical fish and their care requirements
• Assist customers in selecting the right fish for their aquarium based on their preferences and tank setup
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the tropical fish department
• Receive new fish shipments and acclimate them to the store’s tanks
• Monitor the health and well-being of the tropical fish in the store

Qualifications:

• Prior experience working with tropical fish is preferred
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of different species of tropical fish and their care requirements
