Position: Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgeon

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgeon to join our practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiac and thoracic surgery, with a focus on providing comprehensive care to patients with complex cardiovascular conditions. Responsibilities for this position include:

• Performing surgical procedures on the heart, lungs, esophagus, and other organs in the chest cavity
• Evaluating and diagnosing patients with cardiovascular and thoracic conditions
• Developing treatment plans and discussing surgical options with patients and their families
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients
• Participating in ongoing education and training to stay current on the latest advancements in surgical techniques

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery
• Valid state medical license to practice
• Excellent surgical skills with a focus on patient safety and outcomes
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
