Job Responsibilities

As an Employee Benefits & Worker Compensation Attorney at Pines Federal, you will be responsible for representing federal employees in a variety of legal matters related to their benefits and compensation. Your duties may include:

  • Providing legal advice and counsel to clients regarding their rights under federal employee benefits programs
  • Filing and litigating appeals for denied benefits claims
  • Negotiating settlements with government agencies on behalf of clients
  • Researching and interpreting federal employment laws and regulations

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing law in the area of employee benefits and worker compensation
  • Strong research, writing, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
