Position: Professional Engineer

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Professional Engineer to join our team and help us in our mission to provide exceptional services to our residents. Job Responsibilities:

• Plan, design, and oversee construction and maintenance of infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, and water systems
• Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and quality of work
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and codes
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to city staff and officials

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Texas
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering project management
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, practices, and techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
