Position: Florist

Responsibilities:

• Create stunning floral arrangements for weddings, events, and other special occasions
• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and design custom floral solutions
• Source and order flowers and greenery from suppliers
• Prepare and condition flowers to ensure they are in perfect condition for events
• Set up floral displays at venues and ensure they are beautifully presented
• Work closely with the event planning team to coordinate floral designs with overall event themes
• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in floral design and attend workshops or training to enhance skills

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a florist, with a portfolio showcasing previous work
• Strong knowledge of different types of flowers and greenery, as well as floral design techniques
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
• Attention to detail and a creative eye for design
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required
• Knowledge of wedding trends and styles is a plus
