Position: Physical Therapist
Job Description
As a Physical Therapist at Primecare Physical Therapy, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with a variety of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. You will work closely with our team of physicians, nurses, and other therapists to develop comprehensive treatment plans that help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals. Additionally, you will communicate effectively with patients and their families to educate them on their condition and the benefits of physical therapy.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough evaluations of patients to determine their physical therapy needs
- Develop customized treatment plans that address each patient’s specific goals
- Provide hands-on therapy techniques to improve strength, range of motion, and functional abilities
- Educate patients on proper exercises and techniques to continue their progress outside of therapy sessions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Qualifications
- Doctorate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy
- Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist
- CPR certification
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous experience working in a healthcare setting preferred
