We are currently seeking a talented Medical Coding Specialist to join our Medical Centers Division.

Position: Medical Coding Specialist

Location: Remote

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

• Assign appropriate medical codes to diagnoses and procedures for billing and reimbursement purposes
• Review medical records and ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation
• Communicate with healthcare providers to clarify diagnoses or procedures as needed
• Adhere to coding guidelines and regulations to ensure compliance with coding standards
• Work closely with billing and collections teams to resolve coding-related issues

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical coding
• Certification in medical coding (e.g., CPC, CCS) preferred
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Proficiency with ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
• Attention to detail and accuracy in coding assignments
