Position: Sous Chef

About the Role:

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic team. The Sous Chef will work closely with the Head Chef to ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards and that the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently. The successful candidate will have a passion for Italian cuisine and a strong background in culinary arts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head Chef in creating and executing menu items
• Supervise kitchen staff and ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely manner
• Maintain proper food safety standards and cleanliness in the kitchen
• Order and manage inventory of ingredients
• Train new kitchen staff as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a professional kitchen
• Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Culinary degree or certification is preferred
