We are currently seeking candidates for the following position:

Position: Youth Pastor

Job Description:

As the Youth Pastor at Rice Temple Baptist Church, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of our youth ministry program. This includes developing and implementing a dynamic and engaging curriculum, planning and coordinating weekly youth services, organizing special events and trips, and providing pastoral care and support to our youth members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive youth ministry program that aligns with the mission and values of the church.
• Lead weekly youth services, including worship, teaching, and small group discussions.
• Coordinate and lead special events, retreats, and mission trips for youth members.
• Build relationships with youth members and provide spiritual guidance, counseling, and support as needed.
• Recruit, train, and supervise volunteer leaders for the youth ministry program.
• Collaborate with church leadership to ensure the youth ministry program is integrated with the overall church mission and vision.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience working in youth ministry or a related field.
• A deep commitment to the Christian faith and the teachings of the Baptist tradition.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to connect with youth members on a personal level.
• Excellent organizational and planning abilities, with a focus on creativity and innovation.
• A Bachelor’s degree in theology, ministry, or a related field (preferred).
