Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Agriculture Insurance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional insurance services to our agricultural clients. You will work closely with farmers and ranchers to assess their insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options to protect their assets.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site visits to assess agricultural properties and identify potential risks
• Develop customized insurance plans that meet the specific needs of each client
• Educate clients on insurance coverage options and provide recommendations based on their unique requirements
• Process insurance applications, endorsements, and claims in a timely and efficient manner
• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and policy details
• Collaborate with underwriters and other team members to resolve complex insurance issues
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in the insurance industry, preferably in agriculture insurance
• Strong knowledge of agricultural practices and insurance products
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Insurance license or willingness to obtain one within the first 90 days of employment
