About Us:

Rover Oaks Pet Resort is a leading pet care facility located in Houston, Texas. We offer a range of services including dog day care, pet boarding & kennels, and pet services to ensure that every pet receives premium care and attention while their owners are away.

We are currently hiring for the following positions:

1. Dog Day Care Attendant

As a Dog Day Care Attendant at Rover Oaks Pet Resort, you will be responsible for providing a safe and engaging environment for our furry guests. Duties will include supervising playtime, feeding, and ensuring the well-being of all dogs in your care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise group play sessions with dogs of various sizes and breeds
  • Monitor behavior and intervene when necessary to prevent conflicts
  • Follow feeding schedules and administer medications as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in the play areas
  • Interact with pet owners and provide updates on their dog’s activities

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working with dogs in a group setting
  • Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Passion for animals and their well-being

2. Pet Boarding & Kennel Assistant

Join our team as a Pet Boarding & Kennel Assistant and help provide a comfortable and safe environment for pets staying at Rover Oaks Pet Resort. Your responsibilities will include daily care routines, monitoring health and well-being, and ensuring that each pet feels at home during their stay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize kennels, play areas, and common spaces regularly
  • Feed pets according to their individual schedules and dietary needs
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by pet owners or veterinary staff
  • Monitor pets for any signs of illness or distress and report to management
  • Provide companionship and attention to pets to keep them comfortable and happy

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a pet care facility or veterinary clinic
  • Knowledge of basic pet care and behavior cues
