Position: Plating Technician

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled Plating Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a plating facility and be familiar with various plating processes including electroplating, anodizing, and passivation. The Plating Technician will be responsible for preparing parts for plating, performing plating processes, and ensuring quality control standards are met.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare parts for plating by cleaning, buffing, and masking as necessary
• Operate plating equipment according to specifications
• Monitor plating process to ensure quality control
• Perform tests on plated parts to verify adherence to specifications
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Assist with troubleshooting equipment and process issues

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a plating facility
• Knowledge of plating processes and equipment
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
