Job Title: Herb and Farm Specialist
Job Responsibilities:
- Directly participate in all aspects of herb cultivation, harvesting, and processing on our farm
- Oversee the maintenance of herb beds, irrigation systems, and farm equipment
- Implement organic growing practices to ensure the highest quality of herbs
- Assist with the development and execution of crop planting schedules
- Monitor and control pests and diseases using natural and sustainable methods
- Collaborate with the farm team to develop innovative farming strategies
- Participate in farmers’ markets and community events to promote our products
- Conduct educational tours and workshops for visitors interested in organic farming
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in organic herb cultivation and farming
- Knowledge of sustainable farming practices and organic pest management
- Strong physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for organic agriculture and a deep respect for the natural environment
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to the demands of farm work
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform strenuous physical tasks
