Job Title: Gun Safety & Marksmanship Instructor

Job Description:

As a Gun Safety & Marksmanship Instructor at Saddle River Range, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of individuals who are looking to improve their shooting abilities. Your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality instruction on gun safety, marksmanship techniques, and firearm handling to our clients. In addition, you will assist in developing and implementing training programs to meet the specific needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting individual and group firearm training sessions
• Teaching proper gun safety protocols and best practices
• Assessing the skill level of students and providing personalized feedback
• Supervising shooting activities on the range to ensure safety and compliance with rules
• Maintaining accurate records of training sessions and student progress
• Assisting with range operations and maintenance as needed

Qualifications:

• Must be a certified firearms instructor with a strong background in gun safety and marksmanship
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with individuals of all skill levels
• Knowledge of a variety of firearms and shooting techniques
• Experience in developing training curricula and lesson plans
• Ability to enforce range rules and regulations in a firm but respectful manner
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety
