Saint Andrews Methodist Church North District

Position: Pastor

Saint Andrews Methodist Church North District is seeking a passionate and dedicated Pastor to lead our congregation in spiritual growth and community outreach. Our church is located in the heart of the North District and has been a pillar in the community for over 50 years. We are committed to spreading the teachings of Jesus Christ and serving our neighbors with love and compassion.

Responsibilities:

• Lead weekly worship services, including delivering sermons and leading prayers
• Provide pastoral care to congregation members, including counseling and support
• Coordinate and participate in community outreach programs and service projects
• Administer sacraments, such as baptism and communion
• Collaborate with church staff and volunteers to plan events and activities
• Attend district and conference meetings as required
• Engage with the local community to build relationships and grow the church

Qualifications:

• Ordained as a Methodist minister in good standing
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards others
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting
• Experience in pastoral care and counseling
• Commitment to personal spiritual growth and development
• Willingness to engage with diverse populations and backgrounds
