If so, we are looking for dedicated individuals to join our team at Saint Mark the Evangelist Parish. We currently have openings in the following positions:

Music Director

As our Music Director, you will be responsible for leading our music ministry and enhancing the worship experience for our parishioners. We are looking for someone who is skilled in playing the piano or organ and has experience leading choirs or musical groups. The ideal candidate will work closely with our pastor and liturgy committee to select music for Mass, special services, and events.

Responsibilities:
– Lead rehearsals for the choir and other musical groups
– Coordinate music for weekend Masses and special liturgies
– Collaborate with other parish ministries to enhance the overall worship experience
– Recruit and train new choir members and musicians

Faith Formation Coordinator

The Faith Formation Coordinator will oversee our religious education programs for children, teens, and adults. This position involves planning and implementing catechetical programs, recruiting and training catechists, and coordinating sacramental preparation for First Communion and Confirmation.

Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement a comprehensive faith formation program for all age groups
– Recruit, train, and support catechists and volunteers
– Coordinate sacramental preparation programs
– Work closely with parents and families to support their spiritual growth

Facilities Manager

The Facilities Manager will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our parish buildings and grounds. This position involves managing a team of maintenance staff, scheduling repairs and renovations, and ensuring that our facilities are clean, safe, and welcoming for all parishioners.

Responsibilities:
– Supervise maintenance staff and contractors
– Develop and implement a preventative maintenance plan
– Manage repair and renovation projects
– Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations
