Hours: Full-time

Job Description:

As a Sous Chef at Sal Y Pimienta Kitchen, you will play a crucial role in the kitchen team, supporting the Head Chef in creating and executing our menu. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in menu planning and development
• Overseeing food preparation and production
• Managing kitchen staff and ensuring a high standard of food quality and presentation
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
• Ordering and maintaining inventory of food supplies

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a similar role in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Strong knowledge of Latin American cuisine and cooking techniques
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Food handler’s certificate
