Position: Lumber Sales Representative
Job Description
We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Lumber Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales within the lumber and building materials industry and a passion for delivering excellent customer service. As a Lumber Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing new business relationships, managing existing accounts, and promoting our products to potential customers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a sales strategy to achieve sales targets
- Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with potential customers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
- Provide product knowledge and technical expertise to customers
- Negotiate and close sales contracts
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the lumber and building materials industry
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
