Job Title: Career Development Specialist
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Career Development Specialist to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in assisting program participants in their job search and career development efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one career counseling and guidance to program participants
- Develop individualized career plans and goals
- Assist participants in updating resumes and preparing for job interviews
- Coordinate job placement opportunities with local employers
- Monitor and track participant progress towards employment goals
- Collaborate with community partners to expand job training and placement options
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g. Social Work, Counseling, Human Resources)
- Previous experience in career counseling or employment services
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
- Familiarity with local employment resources and job market trends
- Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
