We are currently looking for experienced Mechanical Contractors to join our growing team.

Position: Mechanical Contractor

As a Mechanical Contractor at Shape Design Tech, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that showcase your skills and expertise in mechanical engineering. You will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment, ensuring that they meet our high standards of quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with design teams to develop and implement mechanical systems that meet project requirements
• Install, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment, including HVAC systems, industrial machinery, and piping systems
• Perform regular inspections to identify and address mechanical issues before they become major problems
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
• Adhere to safety standards and protocols to create a safe working environment for all employees
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior contractors and team members
• Document all work performed and maintain accurate records of project expenses and timelines

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Mechanical Contractor
• Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software
• Certification in HVAC systems and other relevant mechanical certifications
