Position: Inspection Service Technician
As an Inspection Service Technician at Shawcor Ltd, you will be responsible for performing various inspection services on pipelines, vessels, and other equipment in the oil and gas industry. You will work closely with our engineering and project management teams to ensure that our clients receive accurate and reliable inspection reports in a timely manner. In addition, you will have the opportunity to travel to different job sites and gain hands-on experience in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting visual inspections, non-destructive testing, and other inspection services as per client requirements
- Documenting inspection results and preparing detailed reports for clients
- Working closely with project managers to ensure that inspections are completed on time and within budget
- Participating in training programs to enhance your technical skills and knowledge of inspection techniques
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in inspection services or a related field
- Certification in non-destructive testing (NDT) methods such as ultrasonic testing, magnetic particle testing, or liquid penetrant testing
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in written and spoken English
- Willingness to travel to job sites as needed
