Position: Spray Painting Technician

As a Spray Painting Technician at Sherwin-Williams Spray Source, you will be responsible for operating spray painting equipment to apply coatings to various surfaces. You will work closely with our customers to understand their needs and recommend the best products and techniques to achieve the desired finish.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer
• Operate spray painting equipment to apply coats of paint or finish
• Mix and match paint colors to achieve the desired shade
• Ensure proper ventilation and safety measures are followed during the painting process
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a spray painter or in a similar role
• Knowledge of different types of spray painting equipment and techniques
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods
