Location: Chicago, IL

Salary: $50,000 – $60,000 per year

Hours: Full-time

Job Description

As an Industrial Sewing Machines Mechanic at Singer Sewing Company, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing industrial-grade sewing machines used in manufacturing and production environments. Your duties will include:

• Performing routine maintenance on industrial sewing machines to ensure optimal performance
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical issues
• Repairing and replacing defective parts
• Calibrating machines to meet specific client requirements
• Testing machines after repairs to ensure functionality
• Assisting clients with technical support and maintenance training

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with industrial sewing machines
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Available to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings if needed
