At Sitar Cuisine of India, we are currently seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Indian cuisine and a strong background in culinary arts. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of our restaurant.
– Assist the Head Chef in creating and executing menu items
– Ensure consistent food quality and presentation
– Manage kitchen staff and coordinate food preparation
– Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
– Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
– Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume restaurant
– Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine and cooking techniques
– Strong leadership and communication skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
– Culinary degree or certification is a plus
We are also looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused servers to join our front-of-house team. The server plays a crucial role in providing a positive dining experience for our guests and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their meal.
– Greet and seat customers
– Take orders and serve food and drinks
– Provide recommendations and answer questions about the menu
– Maintain a clean and organized dining area
– Handle customer inquiries and concerns in a professional manner
– Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
– Excellent customer service skills
– Ability to work well under pressure
– Knowledge of Indian cuisine is a plus
– Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment

– Communicate with clients to understand their catering needs
– Create customized menus and proposals
– Coordinate with the kitchen and serving staff to ensure successful events
– Manage event logistics, including setup and breakdown
– Provide exceptional customer service throughout the catering process
– Previous experience in catering or event planning
– Strong organizational and communication skills
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively
