Job Title: Event Planner

Job Description:

As an Event Planner at Soca Passion, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing all aspects of our clients’ events, from conception to completion. You will work closely with clients to understand their vision and preferences, and then use your creativity and organizational skills to bring that vision to life. Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Creating event proposals and budgets
• Negotiating contracts with vendors and venues
• Coordinating event logistics, including transportation and accommodations
• Managing event timelines and schedules
• Overseeing event setup, breakdown, and cleanup
• Ensuring the overall success and satisfaction of our clients

Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates who are passionate about event planning and have a strong understanding of Caribbean culture and music. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in event planning or a related field
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event planning software
• Knowledge of Caribbean music, food, and traditions
