Optometrist Position Available at Sonia Laurenzi, O.D.

Sonia Laurenzi, O.D. is a well-established optometry practice located in the heart of downtown. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Optometrist to join our team and provide comprehensive eye care services to our valued patients. If you are passionate about eye health, possess strong clinical skills, and have a desire to make a positive impact in the lives of others, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess visual acuity and detect eye diseases
• Prescribe and fit eyeglasses and contact lenses based on patients’ visual needs
• Educate patients on proper eye care practices and answer any questions or concerns
• Manage and treat eye conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, and dry eye syndrome
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for patients
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records to ensure quality care and compliance with regulations

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited institution
• Active state license to practice optometry
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of current optometric practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning
