Job Title: Pet Sitter & Dog Walker

Job Description

Are you an animal lover looking for a rewarding job that allows you to spend time with furry friends? If so, Sophie4walks is looking for responsible, compassionate individuals to join our team as pet sitters and dog walkers. As a pet sitter, you will be responsible for visiting clients’ homes to care for their pets while they are away. This may include feeding, providing fresh water, administering medication if needed, and providing playtime and companionship. Dog walkers will be responsible for taking dogs on walks to ensure they get the exercise and stimulation they need.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide in-home pet sitting services for a variety of animals
• Follow clients’ instructions for pet care and maintain their routines
• Ensure pets are well-fed, hydrated, and comfortable
• Administer medication as needed
• Engage in playtime and provide companionship to pets
• Take dogs on walks of varying lengths
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for pets at all times

Qualifications

• Prior experience in pet sitting, dog walking, or animal care preferred
• A genuine love for animals and a desire to provide quality care
• Reliable transportation to travel to clients’ homes
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain pet routines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
