South Union Church of Christ is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team in the role of Worship Leader. As a key member of our staff, the Worship Leader will play a crucial role in leading our congregation in meaningful and inspiring worship experiences each week.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and lead engaging worship services that align with the beliefs and values of the Church of Christ.
• Select music, hymns, and other worship elements that are spiritually uplifting and relevant to the congregation.
• Coordinate with musicians, singers, and other worship team members to ensure seamless and cohesive worship services.
• Provide leadership and guidance to volunteers involved in worship ministries.
• Collaborate with the pastor and other staff members to create a cohesive and integrated worship experience.
• Attend staff meetings, rehearsals, and other church events as required.

Qualifications:

• A deep personal faith in Jesus Christ and a commitment to the teachings of the Bible.
• Prior experience as a worship leader, music director, or similar role in a church setting.
• Strong musical skills, including proficiency in playing an instrument and leading congregational singing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with people of all ages and backgrounds.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and provide leadership to volunteers.
• A willingness to embrace the mission and values of South Union Church of Christ.
