Position Available: Furniture Sales Associate

As a Furniture Sales Associate at Southwest Surplus, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their furniture selection, providing product information, and completing sales transactions. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and a passion for helping customers find the perfect furniture pieces for their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in selecting furniture pieces that meet their style and budget requirements
• Provide product information and answer any questions customers may have
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized showroom
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in furniture sales or customer service
• Knowledge of different types of furniture and design styles
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented and organized

Position Available: Remodeling Specialist

As a Remodeling Specialist at Southwest Surplus, you will work closely with our customers to transform their existing furniture pieces into stunning new creations. This role requires a keen eye for design, excellent craftsmanship, and a creative approach to furniture remodeling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet with customers to discuss their remodeling needs and preferences
• Create custom design plans for altering and remodeling furniture pieces
• Execute remodeling projects with precision and attention to detail
• Provide excellent customer service throughout the remodeling process
• Collaborate with the sales team to showcase remodeled furniture pieces in the showroom

Qualifications:

• Experience in furniture alteration and remodeling
• Strong design skills and creativity
• Knowledge of woodworking techniques and tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent customer service skills
